[Infographic] More Money, More Problems Solved: Math Data
/In our last infographic we explored the relationship between school "wealth" and average student ELA scores; for the graphic below, we took a look at math score data across more than 1200 schools in NYC.
Although the differences between "poor" and "middle" school math scores are less pronounced, we can still see that even the worst performing schools in the “wealthy” category are outperforming median schools in the “poor” category. Similarly, students at the bottom 25-50% of “wealthy” schools are doing better than those at the top 50-75% of schools in the “middle” category.
